Campus parking arrangements change

Permits will be required to park on the TUT campus from 15 April onwards. Visitors may park in designated visitor spaces that are intended for short-term stays (max. 4 hours).

Parking arrangements are changed, because the construction of the new so-called Campus Arena will start soon. For example, the car park in front of the Main Building will no longer be available.

The parking areas marked by H (=henkilökunta) are reserved for faculty and staff and parking areas marked by O (=opiskelija) are reserved for students.

The parking spaces marked by V (= vieras) are reserved for visitors. They are intended for short-term parking (max. 4 hours) and require a parking disc.

Some parking spaces will be reserved for service vehicles and require a separate parking permit.

A boom gate will be installed to the multi-storey parking garage to ensure that only the members of the campus community can access the garage. The gate will open with the University’s key card.

The parking areas will be more actively monitored than before to ensure observance of the regulations.
