Antti Rissanen appointed to academy research fellowshipThe Academy of Finland’s Research Council for Biosciences and Environment has awarded funding to 16 newly appointed academy research fellows. One of them is Antti Rissanen from Tampere University of Technology (TUT).
Rissanen’s research project is titled ’Revealing a new player in the global carbon cycle – MAMO-F’.
The Research Council reviewed 164 applications submitted in the Academy of Finland’s September 2014 call. The three-year terms of the new academy research fellows begin in September 2015.
Previous appointments made by the Academy of Finland
The Academy of Finland’s Research Council for Natural Sciences and Engineering has already announced the appointment of Matti Mäntysalo and Nuno Rafael Candeias as Academy Research Fellows. Jaana Vapaavuori was appointed to the position of Postdoctoral Researcher.
In addition, the Research Council for Culture and Society has appointed PhD Kristian Kiili as Academy Research Fellow. The Research Council for Biosciences and Environment has appointed PhD Soile Nymark as Academy Research Fellow.
