Winter is coming: Future challenges for the European airport industry - Frankfurt Airport visits TUT

Guest speakers from Frankfurt Airport will share their views on the challenges facing the European airport industry.

This year has been rather rough for the European airport industry, as well as for the airlines. The structure of the aviation industry is changing fast, and the pressures on yields, cost structure and innovation are likely to increase. The current challenges leave the professionals in aviation industry wonder: How to prepare for the economical and financial winter?

 

Senior Vice President of Fraport AG, Dr. Dieter Frueauff, and Jenny Gisy, Manager for Accounting Processes and Projects, visit TUT on Friday 4th November to present their views on the topic.

Frankfurt Airport is one of the world's most important air transportation hubs. It is the busiest airport in Europe by cargo traffic and the 4th busiest in Europe by passenger traffic with over 60 million passengers using the airport yearly.

Fraport AG is a full-service provider in the airport management field.  It operates Frankfurt Airport and is active on four continents through investments and subsidiaries. In 2014, the Fraport Group generated € 2,4 billion revenue and Group profits of € 252 million.
