18 new PhD students to the Doctoral Programme of TUT’s President

There were altogether 123 applicants. The decisions on the selection were made by the Steering Group of TUT’s Graduate School according to the criteria set for the Programme. The results have been informed to all the applicants.

The aim of the TUT President’s Doctoral Programme is to support the doctoral education of all the fields represented at TUT, but, however, place emphasis on the University’s strategic fields as well as multidisciplinarity and internationality. Students are generally granted a position for a period of three years. The programme holds altogether 55 PhD positions. The next application period will be in autumn 2013 and the positions will be filled for the period 1.1.2014-31.12.2016.
