Faculty of Natural Sciences
The Faculty of Natural Sciences has a strong commitment to the highest level of scientific research, providing top-level education in undergraduate, master, and doctoral degree programmes. The main principle is to educate students who have strong basis in natural sciences and mathematics.
Studies
Faculty of Natural Sciences administers five degree programmes. In the International Master’s degree programmes the language of instruction is English.

Research
The strategic research focus of the Faculty lies in nanoscience and -technology, energy technology, biotechnology and biomedical engineering. Strong areas of competences are also in theoretical and computational modelling.
