Faculty of Engineering Sciences

The Faculty of Engineering Science is the only purely technology-oriented faculty at Tampere University of Technology. Based on the number of students and staff, it is the second largest faculty at TUT.

The faculty offers high-quality education leading towards bachelor's, master's and postgraduate degrees.  The faculty administers one bachelor's degree programme, three master’s degree programmes that are conducted in Finnish and two international master's degree programmes.

The faculty comprises the following four departments:

• Department of Intelligent Hydraulics and Automation (IHA)
• Department of Materials Science (MOL)
• Department of Engineeering Design  (EDE)
