The Summer School on 3D Media Technologies, User Experience, and Computational Architectures

The Summer School on 3D Media Technologies, User Experience, and Computational Architectures will be held on 12.8. - 16.8.2012 in Varala Sports Institute, Tampere.

The school will feature tutorial-like lectures on established topics within the scope of the school given by world-renowed speakers. Presentations on novel achievements on emerging topics will be featured as well. Students attending the school will have the change to present their ongoing research in a poster session (Best Poster Award sponsored by Nokia) and feedback from their fellow students and the lecturers.

The school is organized by the Department of Signal Processing, the Department of Computer Systems at Tampere University of Technology, Finland, and the Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institut, Germany with the financial support of the ICT COST Action 3D-ConTourNet (pending), Tampere Doctoral Programme in Information Science and Engineering (TISE), the Finnish Doctoral Programme in Computational Sciences (FICS), the Graduate School in Electronics, Telecommunications and Automation (GETA), Infotech Oulu Doctoral Program and Nokia.
