Professor Jaakko Astola has been invited a member of Academia Europaea

Academia Europaea is a European non-governmental scientific academy founded in 1988. Its members are scientists and scholars who collectively aim to promote learning, education and research.

This year, Academia Europaea invited three new Finns as members; Prof. Jaakko Astola, Academy Professor Markku Kulmala from the University of Helsinki and Professor Erkki Oja from the Aalto University.
