Urban Planning Professional Course 2 will in November 2012 organize two open lectures.
The topic of the workshop is related to the student competition concerning new Tram Canopy of Tampere.
The Dragon Skin Pavilion was created in a workshop held by EDGE Laboratory for Architectural and Urban Research of Tampere University of Technology and LEAD in the autumn of 2011.

Selected works of Architectural Design Professional Course 2011 "Culture Shelter - a Public Living room" -practices are now on display on the second floor hall of R-building.
The staff rooms are relocated to wing SH3 in "Sähkötalo" for the rebuilding season. The transport from RJ1 was made at 19.5. and the work continues now on upper floors. Old student project materials are returned to the students in april.

This scientific conference in Helsinki is a joint venture between researches in Finland and Sweden. The conference themes is developed in cooperation between the4th Architectural Research Symposiumin Finland and the4th International conference on architectural competitions.
The Conference will be held in Seinäjoki Town Hall (designed by Alvar Aalto) on March 12 and 13, 2012, and on March 14 there will be an excursion to Alajärvi (town centre designed by Alvar Aalto) and Jyväskylä.
