Our metrology laboratory offers reliable and independent measuring and calibration services. Due to our long experience and constant research on this field, we can solve even the most complicated measuring problems.

Measuring service
To start with, we always make an agreement with our customer to define quality requirements, confidentiality, and the methods of measuring and reporting. As the result of measuring, we can provide an independent report of a customer’s product or an acceptance inspection of a machine.
Our reliability rests on traceable calibrations of reference standards and machines. Accreditation ensures that our knowledge of standardization, measuring machines, and their uncertainties are up-to-date.
Measuring of machine tools
We handle the measuring of machine tools quickly and effortlessly at customer’s premises. The results can be used to recognize problem areas or to prove that one fulfills certain quality requirements.
Accredited calibration service (K003)
Customer’s reference standards are calibrated in our air-conditioned laboratory with coordinate measuring and reference calibration. Different measuring machines are calibrated at customer’s premises using a step gauge and a laser interferometer.

The customer will get an official certificate acknowledged all over Europe for the calibrated standards and machines. The certificate is a statement of high quality level.
Our laboratory is accredited and supervised by Finnish Accreditation Service (FINAS), according to the SFS-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 quality standard. Our reference standards are calibrated in MIKES Centre for Metrology and Accreditation.

Training

We offer training courses, seminars, and demonstrations tailored to customers’ needs. The areas of training can include for example:
- measuring and calibration of measuring machines and machine tools
- defining the uncertainty of measurement
- coordinate measuring
Due to our close cooperation with Finnish Standards Association SFS, MIKES Centre for Metrology and Accreditation, and the industry we always have the most recent knowledge of the field.
