About ReDia project

Project:

ReDia - Ready-to-use Microfluidic Cartridges for Affordable Point-of-care Diagnostics
Funding: Tekes, companies
Contact: Jorma Vihinen
Time schedule: 2011/04/01 - 2013/12/31

This project intends to develop a generic high-sensitive but still low-cost immunoassay concept which is based on nanoparticle labels and a microfluidic assay cartridge with self-contained ready-to-use reagents, featuring simple "add only sample" –principle.

To make sure the cartridges are hermetic, they are welded by laser in a microfactory module.
