Adapting Innovative Development for Sustainable Area (AIDA)- project aims at changing current project based concurrent engineering oriented practises towards dynamic adapting process based integrated systems that suit better to sustainable area development within fast changing reality. Modern innovative STEEP (Social Technological Economic Ecologic and Politic) context based approach is created together with customers (cities), development companies and Universities. Outcomes are developed and tested towards real sustainable area cases at City of Tampere, City of Helsinki and City Of Vantaa. This cross scientific project involves widely the departments of Universities (Tampere TUT, Salford BuHu, Tokio AIST, TU-Wien).
