Production Engineering

The Department of Production Engineering concentrates on education and research in the field of discrete production. Our mission is to produce sustainable and competitive innovations for the manufacturing industry now and in the future.

• Integrated Product and Production Development
• Factory Automation Systems and Technologies

All our research projects involve cooperation with companies, usually within publicly funded, collaborative projects. We also offer expert services, for example in measuring and calibration, laser applications and machining.

We have a certified quality system (ISO 9001) in use, which helps us maintain the quality of teaching at a high level.
