TUT W3C Web Technology Day: Linked Data for Science and Industry
The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Finnish Office and Tampere University of Technology (TUT) organise a technology and science symposium on October 3rd, 2012 at 12:00-16:00 in TB104. Symposium presents the state of the art development and research around Linked Data.
Our digitalised world is full of data that transform into personally, socially, scientifically, or commercially meaningful information, when properly presented as linked data.
The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Finnish Office and Tampere University of Technology (TUT) organise a technology and science symposium on October 3, 2012 that presents the state of the art development and research around Linked Data. The program of the day includes a keynote by the distinguished W3C expert Dr. Michael Hausenblas, and invited expert presentations on various applied research and technology topics.
The event is open and free of charge to anyone interested in linked data and the related applications. Recommended background knowledge includes rudimentary understanding of Web technologies, or rudimentary understanding of science and engineering disciplines. The event is organised in English.
