FiDiPro Fellow funding for Department of Materials Science

TUT Department of Materials Science has been granted Tekes FiDiPro Fellow funding for inviting an international high-level scientist to Finland. The invited FiDiPro Fellow, Dr. Amit Das comes from Leibniz- Institut für Polymerforschung Dresden, Germany. Dr. Amit Das is highly cited elastomer scientist, and he will bring his knowledge on elastomeric materials for the next three years to the TUT elastomer research group. During this period, Dr. Das and the elastomer research group, together with industrial partners, will study and develop biomimetically inspired elastomeric actuator materials and model structures based on these.
