Integrating research results in common research platforms

ROViR - Remote Operation and Virtual Reality Centre
ROViR Centre is a research centre that specialises in developing remote handling and virtual technology for industrial applications. ROViR Centre conducts research for the ITER fusion programme and hosts a real-sized model of the base of the fusion reactor, the so-called Divertor Test Platform (DTP2). Project leader Prof. J. Mattila.
ACCM - Austrian Center of Competence in Mechatronics
ACCM is a living network based in Linz and with links to numerous national and international partners from the areas of business and research. Their close interaction is already reflected by the ACCM sponsorship constellation. Indeed, the combination of the main sponsors JKU, LCM and vatron, together with national and international scientific and industrial partners from some 14 countries, forms a perfect know-how structure.
