Business Information Management and Logistics
Department of Business Information Management and Logistics (later Dept.) is unit that operates and is pioneering the areas of business information management, logistics, and transportation systems. Currently 7 professors and approximately 40 members of staff research, teach, and have impacts on society.
Research on business information management focuses on the organizational exploitation of information and knowledge, their impact on productivity, and on modern supportive systems and methods. Research on transport systems focuses on assessment and management of transport demand and interaction between urban form and transport.
Studies and research at the department is interdisciplinary and versatile. The department offers courses available for every student in both major and minor studies and in several degree programs in TUT.
