Department of Engineering Design

Teaching and research fields of The Department of Engineering Design (EDE) are Design and analysis of mechanical systems and Energy performance.

Departmental subjects can be complete bachelor's degree, M.Sc. and doctoral levels.

Research takes place in mechanical engineering, power transmission, maintenance of technology, virtual technology, as well as machinery and buildings energy efficiency and flow research groups.

Department also provides expert and research services to industry.

The head of the department is Professor Timo Kalema.
