The Department of Electrical Engineering offers several study modules and courses lectured in english in addition to the Finnish education in the fields of Electromagnetics, Power Systems, Electricity Market, High Voltage Engineering, Power Electronics and Drives, Switched Mode Converters and Renewable Energy Systems.

The International Master's Degree Programme in Electrical Engineering at Tampere University of Technology (TUT) offers a two-year programme in one of the following areas: RF electronics, wireless communications and Smart Grids in electrical energy distribution. This is one of the eight English-speaking master's degree programmes at TUT.
