High voltage laboratory

High voltage laboratory in TUT serves all-round environment and equipments for research and testing. In the laboratory, there are test voltage sources for

• 300 kV AC voltage
• 950 kV impulse voltage
• 100 kV and 130 kV DC voltage

In addition, there is special measurement equipments for

• PD measurements
• leakage current measurements
• material properties measurements

In the laboratory there are also a multifunctional and large climate room in which the weather conditions can be varied in wide range, e.g. the temperature between -65oC ...+70oC.
