Construction management and economics

The main research areas of the Construction Management and Economics unit are the operational processes and business operations of construction companies, the construction products industry, and construction management firms as well as the life-cycle, energy and environmental economy of real estate. An evolving research field of the unit is the property business and associated facility and user services as well as the 'living business'.

The unit is responsible for Construction Management and Economics education at TUT. It has 3 professors and 20-25 teaching and research staff members. The unit also has 11 senior lecturers actively involved in its work. The unit's broad international co-operation network comprises construction sector companies, public corporations, research units and individual researchers.
