The cleanroom laboratory (class 10000 / ISO7) is equipped with basic microfabrication devices, including e.g. dry etcher (RIE), spinner, mask aligner, fume hood, microscope, dicing saw and wire bonder. For more details see www.findnano.fi. Access is available for experienced / trained users, but processing services can be hired out together with an operator.

Anechoic chamber, contact person, Jouni Niemelä

Different kinds of acoustic measurements and recordings of musical instruments take place in the anechoic chamber. Most of the sound energy in the room is absorbed by the cones on the walls, making the room almost completely anechoic. Measurements can be different response, directionality and sensitivity measurements for microphones and speakers.
