The Entertainment and Media Production (EMMi) Lab. is situated at the Department of Business Information Management and Logistics within the Faculty of Business and Technology Management at the Tampere Univ. of Technology (TUT). Currently EMMi Lab. also maintains the Ambient Media Association (AMEA).

Research Focus
EMMi focuses on the research and traning of management issues, business concepts, and service designsin media management and production industries. The goal is to develop techniques, optimized processes, business models, and creative approaches to new media service designs. Research work is multidisciplinary with a strong parternship with local and international industry and academia. The research work of the group considers traditional media environments, however, as well emphasizes new areas of media:
