Why did you choose TUT and this programme?
I decided to apply for this programme after I had spent 6 months at TUT as an exchange student. I liked the international environment, flexibility and the friendly atmosphere between the students and faculty. Sometimes you feel like a part of big family here. Besides these, I wanted to study electronics and telecommunications at the same time and it was more convenient in this programme.

What is the best part of your studies?
My best memory of studying in this programme is associated with group work, since you learn a lot by working in a team and it's also loads of fun. The faculty encourages active student participation and contribution in class. This improves students' communication and presentation skills, which is useful not only within the scientific community but also in social life.

Why would you recommend TUT to prospective students?
Studying abroad has helped me take on new challenges. However, becoming independent and adapting to a new environment has not been difficult in Finland. Attending classes with students from all around the world and sharing opinions and experiences with them makes studying much more interesting. TUT also has a number of student clubs that represent a wide range of interests.
