Degree programmes in Finnish

Tampere University of Technology offers 13 degree programmes that are conducted in Finnish and lead to a bachelor's degree and then a master's degree. The programmes are intended for students with good command of the Finnish language. No preparatory language training can be offered to students who are not proficient in Finnish.

The first-cycle programmes lead to the degrees of Bachelor of Science in Technology (BSc Tech) or Bachelor of Science in Architecture (BSc Arch). It takes at least three years to complete a bachelor's degree. The extent of the first-cycle degree studies is 180 ECTS credits. One credit equals approximately 27 hours of work. The student workload may involve, for example, lectures, assignments, other forms of instruction and independent learning.
