Required application documents
The following documents are required:
1. Print-out of the application registration form
After filling in the online application form remember to print it out and sign it. You will receive an e-mail including a link to a webpage where you can print out your application.
2. Authenticated copy of the original bachelor's degree certificate
Applicants
who wish to apply during their last semester have to submit an official document that indicates the expected date of graduation and extent of the degree.
3. English translation of the bachelor's degree degree certificate
The document needs to be translated either by the university or an official translator and authenticated.
4. Authenticated copy of the original transcript of records listing the courses of the bachelor's degree programme

The document needs to be translated either by the university or an official translator and authenticated.
6. Certificate of English language proficiency

7. Motivation letter
In the motivation letter you demonstrate in your own words your motivation towards studying in the programme you are applying to.
8. Curriculum Vitae
The form of CV is free but you can use for example Europass format
9. Two recommendation letters
Minimum of two recommendation letters from academic and/or professional referees, including their contact information.
The applicant must use recommendation templates when applying for Electrical Engineering or Information Technology Programmes.
Electrical Engineering (the template as pdf and rtf form)
Information Technology (the template as pdf andrtf form)
For other programmes the recommendation letter form is free.

11. Portfolio (architecture applicants only!)
Please send the documents only during the application period and with your application registration form.
Do not send original certificates, diplomas, etc. which cannot be replaced, because application documents will not be returned.
Authenticate your copies
The copies of the degree certificate, transcript of records and their translations into English must be authenticated by a public notary, the Finnish Embassy/Consulate in your home country or the institution that issued the original document with an institutional stamp on the documents.

Please write the name of the programme that you are applying for on the envelope.
If you are applying for more than one programme you can send the applications in one package but please note that each application has to be in a separate envelope.
